The person we hired is unable to come due to illness. We need someone ASAP. You must be willing to go to NE July – September for summer training.
Seeking mature individual or couple to help with animal care and maintenance on dog and horse training facility. Must be able to work with our clients and assist with seminars.
Owners are looking for an individual with a positive attitude to assist with well-established business training bird dogs and gaited horses.
SKILLS SOUGHT
Experience with animals; i.e. feeding, handling and medicating.
Desire to learn training skills and an appreciation for an animal’s progress in training a plus.
Driving experience; trucks, trailer towing, tractors with farm implements, ATV’s, etc.
Experience with general maintenance and repairs; fencing, plumbing, electrical, vehicles, etc.
Ability to interact with the public courteously and effectively.
Ability and willingness to take direction when needed but also to work well alone and be a self-starter who has an “ownership” attitude towards his/her work environment.
Ability to work long hours with a positive attitude.
