Mature couple to manage 150 acre ranch in McKinney, Texas.
General Ranch Duties: Gardening including fertilizing, seeding and weeding, brush cutting and lawn mowing for approximately 2 acres.
Safe use of tractor and small equipment, as directed.
Cattle: Feeding cattle when necessary.
Pool: Maintenance
Ranch Housekeeping: General clean-up, laundry of main home for one couple along with overall handyman responsibilities for occasional small repairs. Stocking of supplies as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Experience with general ranch work
Valid Texas driver’s license
Experience with Cattle (approximately 20)
Ability to follow instructions and perform as instructed
Love of the outdoors and getting dirty, along with the willingness to work in all weather conditions, including cold, heat and rain
Ability to work independently and be proactive with every day needs
Bilingual a PLUS (Spanish)
Communication skills including ability to communicate orally and in writing
Reliable attendance and ability to work weekends or evenings when necessary
