An amazing and inspiring opportunity, to put well priced products into our customer’s hands. This position requires taking initiative in receiving, invoicing, pricing products from suppliers, researching products for competitive prices and then merchandising the products to the floor. Employee would design and change displays and signage on a seasonal basis a throughout the store. Responsibilities and Duties:
-Must be willing to relocate.

-Receiving and checking the correct quantities of products that have been delivered and then entering the items in the computer.
-Updating prices by checking with competitors pricing on a regular basis.
-Printing barcode prices and signs and moving received products to the sales floor to and displaying and merchandising products correctly.
-Responsibilities will include management of supply sources, sales and profit trends, return on inventory investment, return on store space allocation and marketing/merchandising strategies.
-Management of In-store merchandising and product placement.
-Develops merchandising and sell thru plans at retail that deliver the following targets: retail strategy, sales and profit, item strategy and inventory control, merchandise placement and execution, promotional plan.
-Reports on the status of merchandising efforts in an accurate and timely manner; analyzes data and directs changes to improve success of merchandising plans.
-Provides communication and training materials as needed on all features, benefits, and merchandising concepts of products.
-Coordinates with vendors including but not limited to pricing revisions, discontinued items, acceptable situations, back orders, delivery date revisions, and invoice discrepancies.
-Maximizes sales and margin opportunities
-Identifies new opportunities to deliver product the customer wants and needs
-Conducts category reviews on an annual or semiannual basis
-Develops seasonal merchandise assortments along with pricing and merchandising plans
-Maintains current knowledge of sales and product performance
-Identifies poor performing items and categories and reduces inventory and liabilities
-Partners with an Inventory Planner to determine financial goals including preseason flow plans and projection.
-Keeps informed of competitors’ product offering, pricing and advertising
-Develops and submits advertising and promotional plans that deliver increases in sales and store traffic
-Flexibility of hours: ability to work 50 hour work week (10 hour shifts, 5 days per week) with varied hours, days, nights, and weekends and holidays as business dictates.

Qualifications:
– 3-5 years of multi-unit purchasing experience
-Commitment to excellence and high standards.
-Possesses an acute sense of urgency.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills and laptop computer skills.
-Excellent presentation skills.
-Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
-Ability to manage priorities and workflow and handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
-Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
-Proficient on excel and word
-Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
-Ability to pass a drug test at anytime.
-Strong interpersonal skills.
-Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
-Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
-Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
-Forklift experience
-Must be able to work independently without supervision and self-motivated.
-Must have product knowledge about items sold relating to agricultural, hardware, and mechanical.

Physical Demand:
-Sit, stand, walk and run for up to 8 hours per day
-Constant use of hands and fingers.
– standing, walking, pushing/pulling, reaching and lifting, stooping, kneeling, bending, carrying.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
-Ability to pull or push 2000 pounds with a pallet jack repetitively.
– Able to move with gusto.
