An Excellent Employment Opportunity has Opened Up @ Allerage Farm in Stanfordville, NY. We are currently looking for a person with expertise foaling out broodmares.
This position would be a perfect opportunity for a person who may have finished an equine breeding program, but has yet to find a job that utilizes the skills they have learned. While the completion of a formal degree program is helpful, it is not a requirement for the job. Practical experience in foaling out broodmares may be used in place of a degree.
Although other duties may be assigned by the farm manager, the primary skill needed for this position, at this time, will be monitoring and assisting foaling out broodmares. In addition to being honest and dependable, the ideal candidate would possess a quiet demeanor. General horsemanship skills are also a must. A current and valid driver’s license is required.
Benefits of working for the farm include the following: A competitive salary for a 40 hour work week with 2 days off weekly; Housing on the Farm is also available, if needed, and would include all utilities (electric, cable, and internet). Health Insurance is available after a 90 day probationary period.
