A perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door at an established Ranch and expose themselves to all aspects of an operating guest ranch.
We, a small (30 beds) and rather remote guest ranch, offering horseback riding, horse boarding, carriage rides, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking as well as cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
Primary Job Duties would include …
Cleaning of our cabins, their bathrooms and kitchen areas, change sheets, towels, restock supplies in it etc.
Clean any other common areas needing cleaning such as offices, tack room, vehicles, etc. as often as necessary. Sweeping decks,and porches including clearing those areas of snow on the winter.
When not busy with housekeeping duties, other duties could include …
Check in guests, answer phones in office.
Checking water of animals, help with feeding chores of our horses and small flock of chickens.
During our summer season you could expect to at times help with …
Saddling and unsaddling our trail horses on occasion.
Help with the pony rides for our smaller guests.
Help with keeping our lawn and plantings in good shape by watering, mowing on our riding lawnmower.
General work needing to get done on the ranch.
Please note: All of the duties listed are in a high altitude environment.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Working here requires very independent people who do not mind time alone, both when working and when we do not have guests.
Must be comfortable with long periods away from town/city life. Again, we are very remote, one hour from the nearest town. Your own transportation is a necessity.
A job at our ranch requires you to be fast learner and motivated self starter as well as being a problem solver. Need to be able multi task and prioritize.
Basic math and computer skills please.
Strong social skills, attention to personal appearance, and proper etiquette are essential. You will be expected to dress western.
Rabid, obsessive – compulsive need for cleanliness is highly valued, so the person applying for this job should enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction out of a job well done.
Small one bedroom apartment suitable for one person is included in compensation. Along with all utilities, including Cable TV.
Experience preferred but we will train conscientious persons who are organized, detail oriented and have the right attitude.
Will consider couple. However only one full time position is available.
With some 20 approximate part time hours of work available per week.
