Wild Eagle Mountain Cattle Ranch
Description: Seeking long term experienced ranch hand in remote South Central Montana. This is not a cowboy type job. Must have prior ranching and cow/calf experience, with the ability to operate, maintain and repair ranch machinery. Duties include feeding and doctoring cattle, move cattle by ATV and horseback, extensive calving, fencing, spraying weeds, haying, hauling hay, irrigation, repair ranch equipment and other duties as assigned. This is a full time – permanent position. We run 700-800 head black angus cows year round. We have approx 30,000 acres this includes 650 acres is Alfalfa hay. We put this up ourselves.
We do most of our work via 4-Wheelers but do use horses a couple times a month June through October.
What we are looking for someone who is capable of helping in all phase’s of ranch work, honest, dependable, motivated. Willing to work alone as well as with others. We work in a drug free/ smoke free environment.
