Ranch couple needed for cow/calf, horse, and special events property located one hour west of Fort Worth. Integrity, experience, professionalism, and communication are essential to manage day-to-day operations on this ranch. Non-smoking couple with neat appearance a must.
Duties to include:
• Manage cow herd and health including rotation, culling, and possible marketing
• Manage grounds including mowing, haying, fence repair, minor plumbing and electrical, and RO water system
• Manage horses including foaling, halter breaking, shots, barn upkeep, cleaning stalls, and riding and exercising
• Maintain horse records including schedules for feeding, worming, and trimming
• Manage employees and vendors
• Maintain cow records and feed reports
• Cleaning and stocking of all property structures (houses and barns)
• Oversee special events including scheduling and management of event vendors, and cleanup after events
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports
Must undergo background and credit check prior to hire. Additionally, oversee and manage one full-time assistant already located on ranch. Current ranch manager leaving due to family health issues, will be available for transition. Housing provided and salary commensurate with experience.
