Majestic Dude Ranch offers guests a vacation of a lifetime full of bucket list activities and exciting adventures. We are located in Southwest Colorado in the quaint town of Mancos. We offer guests an amazing horse program with a different trail ride every day, whitewater rafting, clay pigeon shooting, target shooting, archery, mountain biking, mountain climbing, hiking, kayaking, fly-fishing, paintball and laser tag. We also have an excellent kids program! We specialize and accommodating and tailoring the guest’s vacation so they have the best week of their lives.

Our 2016 Season is from mid-May and runs through the end of September our Peak Summer Season usually ends in August. We have adult only in the months of May and September.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Working at a guest ranch is fun and fulfilling, but it’s not a vacation. The days are very long and full of hard work. The main goal here at Majestic Dude Ranch is to make the guests feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible. We want each guest to feel like family when they leave and to leave having had the best vacation of their life. Each staff member can expect to help in different areas of ranch operations at some time or another such as housekeeping, waiting tables, dishwashing, clearing trails, and grounds keeping. Everyone that works here must be willing to help in all areas no matter their title. Our staff wears many hats!!

We expect our staff to have the following qualities:

Room and Board for Staff:
Staff lives on the property in shared bunk houses. We do make exceptions for people who live locally; they are not required to live onsite. There are separate living quarters for male and female staff. In the staff room, we provide a TV with a DVD player and movies for staff to watch. Wifi is available in some areas of the ranch due to being remote. We provide basic furnishings, bed linens, pillows and towels as well as washer and dryer and detergent. Pets are not allowed.

Food for Staff:
We provide 3 meals a day for staff.

Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation with room and board included and 3 meals a day. Along with the competitive compensation, we also do tip sharing. Tips are divided between each staff member each pay period (every 2 weeks) .

Employee Perks:
Staff get at least one day off a week. We encourage you to take advantage of all on-ranch activities on your days off. Please note: this is dependent on how many guests go on a ride, go shooting, go fishing, etc. and may not work out on your specific day off. There are lots of hiking and mountain biking trails as well as thousands of acres to explore around the ranch. We also have a fully stocked lake about 200 yards away from the ranch. We also allow up to 2 staff members to join the guests on the weekly whitewater rafting trip to Durango. Mesa Verde National Park is only 15 minutes away as well. Durango is approximately 45-50 minutes away and is fully of restaurants and shops to explore.
