Vannoy Cattle Company
Seeking self-motivated, hardworking ranch manager to manage a 2,500 acre cow and calf operation in Western Montana NE of Missoula, Montana. Candidate must have a background in cow and calf management, farming, irrigation.and haying operations. Knowledge of cattle husbandry, diseases, vaccinations, feeding programs, farm/ranch equipment, cattle working operations, grasses, and weeds, is required. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
Experience in the following area is required:
-Ranch management experience
-Cattle working techniques
-Must be able to ride horse and work cattle on horseback
-Experience managing a budget
-Efficiently prioritizing ranch work
-Fence construction and maintenance
-Weed management
-Operating and maintaining farm/ranch equipment
-Ability or work and interact with the general public and community
-Crop Production and haying operations
