We are looking for a full-time Ranch Manager/Foreman to help maintain our 1,000 acre family recreational/hunting ranch in Panguitch, Utah. This remarkable property contains several homes, horses, irrigated pastures surrounded by hundreds of acres of peaceful country. The position is for a Ranch Manager/Foreman that will work closely with the owner and his management staff to maintain the land, ranch roads, homes, common area buildings, landscape, fences, wells, equipment, animals, etc) both personally and through organizing and supervision of outside contractors, while making safety and risk management a priority.
We are looking for excellence in integrity, honesty and work ethic. The right applicant must have a positive and willing attitude, be flexible hard working (not afraid of getting their hands dirty) organized, good communication skills and efficient with their time. Great references and clean record are a must.
Along with these key personality traits, we are looking for someone experienced in:
• Facilities Management/Maintenance/handyman (electrical, plumbing, etc) – Contract work will be provided on jobs needing major repair
• Seasoned Equestrian – maintain, exercise and basic veterinary skills
• Able to operate and maintain heavy equipment
• Supervision of hired help
• Irrigation and sprinkler system maintenance and repair
• Maintain ranch roads in the winter months and responsible for keeping the roads clear of snow
• Manage and clear all property trails
• Responsible to maintain ranch budget as directed by owner and management
• Manage land to include deadfall removal and fire protection
• Ranch projects as directed by owner/management
• Guest Relations and entertainment
• Running and maintaining game cameras
