Job Description

We are looking for a Ranch Manager.

Duties:
Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
Set work schedules and supervise staff
Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
Enforce policies and procedures
Co-ordinate, plan, oversee and implement marketing and sales procedures
Review, evaluate and implement new office procedures
Ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
Oversee administrative operations relating to budget
Dealing with federal and provincial authorities
Ensure that invoices are billed and paid out on time
Administer monthly statements and reconciliation and payment to appropriate agencies
Make sure the licenses necessary for the business are renewed on time
Liaising with suppliers, customers to obtain and provide necessary information
Other clericals duties when required

The ideal candidate would have :
Minimum one year work experience in a related position (management)
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of B.C. Licensing system (Commercial Recreation, Park Use, …)
Wilderness experience is an asset
Able to live in a remote place in a communal environment
