The Majestic Dude Ranch is looking to add to our incredible seasonal team! We are currently hiring Wranglers for the 2023 season. We have a herd of over 70 healthy horses, and value hard working, positive individuals with quiet hands. If you’re looking for a job on horseback with a zero-drama policy, we may be the place for you!

Individuals must be:

team players
hard working
honest
positive, optimistic and enjoy working with the public
0 drama
quiet with horses
knowledgeable about horse and able to recognize the signs of common illnesses
able to maintain a “western” appearance while working
self-starter who notices what needs to be done and does it
drug and alcohol free while on site

One full season guiding experience is required

Preference given to those available from mid-April ’till late September. We provide housing, all meals, competitive wages, and tips. Customer service-oriented individuals do well here. Staff also has access to our facilities (pool, hot tub, pool table, library, etc.) and equipment (paddle boards, bikes, etc.) while they are not in use. NO PETS ON SITE!

This job is A LOT OF FUN but requires early start times, hard physical work, knowledge of horses and a good attitude. Showing up to work with a negative attitude, or hungover, will not be tolerated. Horses are great, but this job is also about our guests. We provide them with a vacation of a lifetime, and our staff is critical to their experience. Our herd receives excellent care, including a 6-wk farrier schedule from the best in the business, chiropractic care and regular veterinary care. We expect our staff to report ANY horse issues. We keep our horses throughout the duration of their lives. We prefer those who are confident in their riding and horsemanship who can further green horses and mold them into dude horses WITHOUT rough handling, but we are willing to help further an individual’s skill if they have the right attitude.
