The Ranch at Ucross near Sheridan, Wyoming has an immediate opening for a Wrangler/Maintenance person. The Ranch is a seasonal guest ranch that caters to motorcoach tour groups and foreign travelers.
The guest season is May to October 15th. Wranglers take care of the horse herd and take guests on trail rides on and near the ranch. Duties include general horse care; feeding, saddling and unsaddling; assisting guests on and off horses safely; taking guests on trail rides and any other ranch/horse related duties assigned by the ranch managers. Wranglers work with the managers on pasture care, pasture rotations, corral maintenance and irrigation. Additional duties include assisting the maintenance department with facilities maintenance.
The Ranch offers a full hookup RV site for free if you stay the entire season, a wage of $16 per hour (no state taxes), end of season bonus, fuel reimbursement bonus, ranch and hotel discounts as well as some meals. Pets are welcome in our employee only RV park.
