Help needed on family farm/ranch with upkeep, chores, fence repair, animal care, haying. Riding ability, and your own horse, is strongly preferred but riding is only a small part of the job. Most tasks (depending on the month) will involve upkeep and maintenance, or haying help, along with cattle care.
You would be working alone or with one other person and must be willing to take direction well and do dirty jobs. We raise cattle, hay, and grain, and while most of the work here is entry-level and basic, some relevant farm/ranch background is very strongly preferred.
The farm is in an isolated location with limited cell service; you MUST be able to live and work in a remote location.
Drug and tobacco free workplace. Driver’s license is required, but we don’t need a CDL. Salary is paid once monthly and depends on experience.
