Job Description:
De-Su Angus is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a part of our southern ranch in Fremont, IA.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a very progressive registered Angus operation on 2,350 contiguous acres. Home to 700 beef cows, several hundred bulls and youngstock, this is an extension of our Holstein and Angus division in Northeast Iowa and Southeast Minnesota. We perform an extensive amount of embryo transfer and operate all late model John Deere equipment.
Duties will include but not limited to: mixing feed, general herdsman, maintenance and miscellaneous farm work, and preparing for our annual bull sale.
This position has the opportunity to develop into a career based on your personal interests and skillsets.
Candidate must be proficient at operating equipment and be familiar with animal handling.
Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays and have a valid driver’s license.
Compensation based upon candidate’s skill level.
