Fourth-generation ranch & farm operation in SW Nebraska is looking for trustworthy, dependable and experienced personnel.
Applicant will demonstrate experience in livestock health and have the physical capability to perform work in various weather conditions.
Must have a valid driver’s license and exhibit a strong work ethic. Integrity to work individually as well as within a team is essential.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting during calving season, calve out between 800 to 1000 per year.
- Assisting with feedlot as needed, capacity when full ~3500 head
- General farming of corn, wheat and hay.
- Doctoring calves and cows
- Fencing
- General repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Cattle herding and handling skills
Housing is provided, as well as utilities. Other benefits to be discussed during the interview. Pay is dependent on experience level and skill.
