Private family is looking for an Assistant Caretaker for a beautiful 400-acre property in Gallatin, NY (near Hudson/Red Hook).

You’ll help with:

  • Mowing fields and trails
  • Gardening and landscaping
  • Caring for chickens and ducks
  • General property maintenance
  • Learning to operate tractors and perform minor repair to tractors and other equipment (training provided)

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, enjoys hands-on outdoor work, and wants to learn. Experience with landscaping, farming, construction, or groundskeeping is a plus.

Year-round work • Competitive pay • Great opportunity to learn and grow into Head Caretaker position in time.

Live-out position (no housing). Applicants should live within about 30-40 minutes of Gallatin.
