Assistant Guest Ranch Manager needed in north-central Nebraska

Join our dynamic team as the Assistant Guest Ranch Manager and play a key role in maintaining and operating a thriving guest ranch. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of settings while contributing to livestock care, land management, hospitality services, ranch operations, and facility maintenance.

We are seeking a motivated, dependable individual or couple who is eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced ranch environment. This role requires practical knowledge and experience in agriculture, customer service, equipment operation, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform day-to-day agricultural and ranch maintenance duties
• Assist with livestock care
• Facilitate daily river outfitting operations
• Oversee a small team of seasonal employees during peak season
• Assist with hay production and land management
• Maintain cabins, lodging facilities, and ranch infrastructure
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Keep workspaces, barns, and maintenance areas clean and organized
• Guide hunts
• Assist with general ranch operations and seasonal projects as needed

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a hands-on outdoor environment
• A mix of experience in ranching, maintenance, outdoor guiding, customer service, or hospitality.
• Ability to operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work seasonal demands
