We are a boarding facility looking to increase the lesson and training component of business. Looking for an individual that will excel in this area but also able to assist with any part of running and managing the boarding business. Applicant needs to enjoy teaching both children and adults as well as training horses.

The person hired into this position would help to prepare horses and/or clients for showing at local shows. Currently, we run 3 schooling competitions per year at our facility.

Applicant will also assist with the boarding aspect of the business, interact with customers, help manage property, barns, facilities, students/trainees, give lessons, provide services to the clients in full care, clip, exercise and train horses, groom and tack, clean tack, help as needed to keep facilities clean, safe, and running smoothly. Additional responsibilities would include caring for horses, feeding, and managing herd.

This is a physical job, so applicants must be fit enough to lift 50 pounds, drive a tractor and able to keep up with schooling young horses. We are looking for an honest, reliable person who is able to work independently and is dedicated to providing the best care for our horses.

**Rider skills: **competent in dressage through 3rd level, confident riding over fences (prefer rider with eventing or show jumping experience), and strives to create a positive learning environment. Applicant would be responsible for growing a lesson business, riding the lesson horses to keep them tuned up, riding and preparing sale horses.
