Looking for a mature person experienced in all phases of ranch work to assist the ranch manager on a large, multigenerational ranch located in SE New Mexico / West Texas.
Applicant must be proficient in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment (bulldozer, backhoe and maintainer), be able to work cattle on horseback occasionally, and weld. Duties will include taking care of grounds, maintenance of buildings, equipment and roads and general ranch needs.
The applicant will be working side by side with the ranch manager and sometimes will be working alone and unsupervised. Must be single, no drama or drug use and no smoking. Must have a valid DL, be in good health, and pass a background check.
Nice housing and utilities provided along with a ranch use vehicle. Salary is negotiable.
