Hunter equestrian center at private residence looking for someone with riding and barn experience. Candidate must have experience and be able to ride and handle all sizes of ponies and horses. In addition to working with horses, around half of the job entails typical barn chores as needed. Housing is available.
Duties:
- Riding ponies and horses
- Grooming horses
- Lunging horses
- Horse care
- Stall cleaning
- Horse feeding
- Setting jumps and riding Arena maintenance
The ideal candidate will have extensive horse experience, including English riding and jumping, a strong work ethic, the ability to self manage and prioritize, and be a creative problem solver. The barn has many children riders and candidate should have experience working with children.
