Creekside Equestrian, LLC is looking for a full-time ranch hand in Parker, Colorado.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Must be able to lift and move 70 lb. bales to stack and feed.
- Must be able to work with clients and teammates.
- Must work independently and under foreman direction.
- Position requires:
- – – Feeding supplements, grass, and alfalfa according to changing directions.
- – – Mucking
- – – Managing snow
- – – Using a tractor
- – – Identifying and fixing small repair needs
- – – Blanketing and un-blanketing, based on weather and chart
- – – Special projects and other duties as assigned
- Horse experience is beneficial
- Ability to recognize horse health issues, such as colic and lameness is beneficial
Salary: $120-$170/day depending on skill and housing needs.
Days off are Thursday and Friday … must work weekends
