Light Cattle Co Quarter Horses
We stand stallions, foal out mares and conduct all phases of reproductive work on the ranch. We are seeking to add a new member to our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning stalls and maintaining the barn
- Feeding, watering, catching, handling and doctoring horses
- Fence repair and general property maintenance
- Mowing, weed eating, and grounds upkeep
- Assisting with daily ranch and barn tasks as needed
Applicants should be reliable, hardworking, organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and capable of physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
This is South Texas. If you are not comfortable working in extreme heat, this is NOT the job for you.
Horse experience is REQUIRED, with preference given to those experienced in safely handling breeding stallions. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
