Our current Barn Manger is buying his own ranch! This is a very exciting opportunity for him and we wish him well!
We now have an immediate opening for Barn Manager!
Duties include management of all aspects of the barn operations including horse health, wrangler health and guest safety and delight.
Immediate (winter) projects include learning all ranch orientation materials, team interviewing and hiring of summer 2023 staff, winter care of horses on property, some trail riding with guests.
Spring projects include team orienting and educating new staff as they arrive, including team teaching of DRA Wrangler Safety Course.
Summer projects include leadership and supervision of all aspects of our riding and activities programs, scheduling, educating, correcting and coaching.
The wrangler staff are the “face” of the ranch, the folks guests interact with the most. With the House Manager, the Wedding/Events Manager and the owners, the Barn Manager provides leadership to create a culture of teamwork to produce our product: a delighted guest.
