We have an immediate opening for a Barn Manager at American Ranch in Prescott, AZ. We are looking for a dependable, friendly, professional candidate. This is a full-time position and we are seeking an employee who wants long-term employment. This is not an equine trainer position.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ Experience with Horses – This Ranch has 40 Horses boarded
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly each day
- Experience with driving a tractor
- Self-Motivated and Dependable
- General Maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Provide proper health and nutrition to all horses
- Ordering supplies and materials for the barn operations
- Staff oversight and management
- Budget review and boarder billing
- Maintenance of facility
- Establishing and fostering relationships with boarders and owners
- Feeding and Watering the Horses
- Dragging arenas
Compensation:
- $48,000-$58,000 salary
- After 90 days of employment, PTO and health benefits
