EXPERIENCED BEEF CATTLE RANCH HAND / RANCH MANAGER

Year-Round Position | Housing Provided | Salary Based on Experience

Established beef cattle ranch is seeking an experienced, dependable ranch professional to join our operation. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on cattle experience who can take responsibility for daily ranch operations and livestock care.

MUST HAVE:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Significant beef cattle experience
  • Spring calving experience — overseeing cows and newborn calves
  • Cattle vaccinations, branding, processing, feeding, and general herd health
  • Rotational grazing and moving cattle
  • Experience operating New Holland tractors
  • Knowledge of both flood and wheel-line irrigation — training provided on our specific systems
  • Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day ranch decisions
  • Daily communication with the owner is required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily cattle care, calving, feeding, herd health, rotational grazing, irrigation, equipment operation, pasture, fence maintenance, and general ranch operations.

We are looking for someone who knows cattle, takes pride in their work, is dependable, and understands the responsibility of caring for livestock and maintaining a working ranch.

Housing provided. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
