Ranch Caretaker Couple — Private Ranch, North of Tulsa, OK
Full-time, live-in position for a couple
Private 750-acre family ranch seeks an experienced couple for full-time, live-in animal and property care. Home to a handful of horses and donkeys, with a horse barn, hay barn, equipment barn, and miles of trails. The ranch is a family retreat first — a place for horses, hay production, and land stewardship. This is a broad, hands-on role for people who take genuine pride in animal welfare, land maintenance, and keeping a working ranch running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily turnout, feeding, and stall cleaning for horses and donkeys
- Administering medications/supplements; recognizing lameness, colic, and other ailments
- Record keeping and scheduling/overseeing vet and farrier visits
- Exercising/riding horses to keep them fit for owners
- Driving a horse trailer, dragging arenas and operating manure spreader as needed
- Operating skid steer and attachments, backhoe, zero-turn mower, chain saws and sprayers
- Trail and field maintenance, including prescribed burns, weed control, and hay field management
- Building and equipment maintenance
- General building upkeep, cleanliness, and rodent/pest control
We’re looking for:
- A couple with significant hands-on horse experience
- Experienced in operating heavy equipment
- Honest, reliable, and interested in a long-term working relationship
