We are looking for an awesome Caretaker/Ranch Hand to work at an incredible 250-acre ranch in Montverde, Florida. The owner spends part of the year in North Carolina so needs an overall Caretaker who will live on the property to take care of the house and the ranch full-time all year long.
The right candidate will enjoy doing the following work:
- Household maintenance including upkeep, changing AC filters, mowing front yard, getting mail, feeding fish, dog care, blowing leaves off roof, and more
- Maintenance and repair of various ranch equipment and keeping maintenance/repair records updated
- Property maintenance including tree trimming
- Pasture work including mowing, maintaining, applying herbicides, fertilizing, and overall upkeep
- Fence work including installation, repairs, herbicide, and keeping fence rows maintained properly
- Assisting with company and personal events including set up and breakdown of equipment and more
- Proficiency with cattle (40-50) including deworming, tagging, rotating, and selling is preferred but we can train you
The ability to operate gooseneck trailers safely, proficiency in the operation of farm equipment, and the ability to use torches/welders is definitely needed and a CDL is a plus.

We will provide you with a wonderful, fully furnished house (3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms) to live in on the property at no cost to you! This is separate from the main house so you and/or your family will have privacy.
