Couple to Live on Private Family Ranch
Basic Requirements:
We are looking for an individual/couple with experience in ranch management.
Experience with all aspects of ranch work including: pasture management, tractor and other vehicle maintenance, irrigation and well operation; care, handling of cattle, exotics, and horses; upkeep of all facilities, vehicles.
Must be able to operate and perform routine maintenance for all landscape and ranch machinery
Self -starter with ability to work independently, be proactive and follow instructions.
This is a hands on physically demanding outdoor job which includes mowing, brush and tree clearing, animal feeding and handling in all weather conditions including heat, cold and rain.
Must be hard workers in unsupervised situations who can work independently and communicate with absentee owner weekly via phone, text and email.
This is a physically demanding job. The applicant must meet physical requirements for lifting, squatting, strength, arm, leg and body free range of movement.
We are looking for a long term stable person / couple.
Skills Required:
• Previous ranch management experience
• Equipment use and maintenance experience (Tractor, Mower, Small engine)
• Pasture and field maintenance experience
• Wild game management experience Job Duties (include, but not limited to)
• Ongoing weekly brush clearing, weed cutting, shredding and mowing
• Handyman maintenance of house structures
• Fence maintenance
• Road maintenance or vendor coordination
• Animal feeding and deer feeder maintenance
• Equipment maintenance (tractor, mower, small engine)

• Pay range $35,000 + depending on experience
Ranch Work Hours:
M-Fri – minimum 8 hours a day + Sat 4 hours a day
Ranch Housekeeping Hours:
20 hours a week: General clean-up of house and other facilities, overall handyman responsibilities for occasional small repairs, stocking of supplies as needed.
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, no criminal record or outstanding warrants and be drug free.
You must provide professional references in order to qualify for this job and pass a background check.
