Seeking a couple to assist the Ranch Manger in maintaining a 400 acre, family-owned recreational ranch located west of Fort Worth, Texas. This is a second home for the family and not a working ranch. The family frequently entertains guests and is looking for a dependable couple whose combined experience must include general ground maintenance, care of 5 to 6 horses (including feeding, cleaning stalls and barn; weekly exercise) and assisting guests with various recreational activities.
Common recreational activities include:
- Tubing
- Kayaking
- Fishing
- Horseback riding
- Skeet shooting
- Rifle/pistol range activities
Experience with heavy equipment, welding, HVAC, irrigation/water systems is a plus. The couple will report to the Ranch Manager and will be required to be on the ranch in his absence. Salary based on experience, and on combined full-time and part-time positions. Must live onsite. Nice 3/2 living accommodations provided including most utilities. Must be professional, hardworking and be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Hiring Requirements:
- Must be a legal U.S. citizen OR have valid working papers.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV report.
- Must provide a work history with personal and employer references with valid phone numbers.
- Must be able to pass an initial drug test/background check.
