Cow/calf operation in beautiful Northwest Nevada Experienced ranch hand/cowboy required to primarily herd, process, doctor, calve and manage a 1,300 cow herd via horseback.
Range includes both private and public lands. Additional work consists of some irrigation, fencing and equipment handling. Should have your own saddle horses. A minimum of 5 years of comparable work experience required.
Must enjoy outdoor work and long hours during certain times of the year. No drug or heavy drinkers please.
Will report to ranch manager. Position includes a nice 3 bedroom home with creek out front with utilities, medical, bonus program and starting salary of $2,300/month.
