Corner Post Meats
Corner Post Meats (CPM) is a pasture-based multi-species production and meats distribution business based out of a 1,500 acre ranch in Black Forest, CO. This job involves the whole “ranch to consumer” process from pasture-to-plate. We currently raise, market and distribute grass-finished beef and lamb as well as pasture raised pork, chicken, eggs and turkey direct to the public.
The 1,500 home base ranch of Corner Post Meats is located on the front range of Colorado in a semi mountain area on the outskirts of Denver and Colorado Springs.
This opportunity is an entry level position for a young single person to work alongside 3 other full time crew members (Two of whom own the business).

-6 day work week, often 7 days a week during the busy summer months.
-New individual 400 sq ft cabin with a full kitchen and bath is provided. (A drug-free environment)
-Power and utilities are provided by CPM at no additional cost to the crew member
-3 community meals each day
-Meal planning, cooking and cleaning is often a rotating responsibility
You will be exposed to all aspects of the business, including multi-species grazing, meat sales, inventory assistance and logistics, customer relations, farm to table dinners, farm tours, and marketing. The ranch requires a lot of hard work (physical and mental) with long hours. We keep things fun and laid back whenever possible. We all live and work on the ranch, in individual housing. Our crew members should enjoy and be able to both work by yourself as well as with a team.
The biggest need within CPM is someone who will take an interest specifically geared towards inventory management, customer relations, and meat distribution. Yet there will be a time split between indoor and outdoor (production) chore responsibilities.
We consider ourselves an energetic, and entrepreneurial team of people working to build a profitable business and enjoyable work environment. A good fit for this position would be someone who sees themselves as such. The provided 400 sq. ft. (12 ft. x 35 ft.) cabin on the ranch is new , however the current work load and pay is NOT conducive to people with families and spouses. As we grow, the ability for the business to support a family will change, however this is not the current reality.
