We are a small equestrian farm in NC. Looking for a small horse farm manager with a minimum of 10 years of equine experience who can independently operate all aspects of running a small farm. We are looking for a self-motivated, hard worker with good knowledge of horses, farm tractor/equipment operation, grounds, and pasture/fence maintenance to help upkeep and run the farm operations.
We offer housing, utilities, a company truck, a cell phone, and subsidized medical insurance included.
Full-time, hands-on individual/s who will treat our small farm as your own. Candidate must be hardworking and physically able to do the jobs required to ensure horses are healthy (coordinating vet care, farrier, etc.) grooming, riding, and exercising horses regularly. Mowing, weed eating, landscaping, barn chores, turnout, horse care, and building maintenance is a plus.
Our white-fenced farm is in a nice community close to larger towns and a medium-sized one.
Candidate must be willing to sign a two-year contract. Salary commensurate with experience.
