Legendary Colorado Saddlery since 1945, is looking for an energetic, organized, dependable, and horse-savvy professional to join our team at our Bell Mountain Ranch location in Castle Rock, Colorado.
This is more than a traditional retail management position. It is an opportunity to become an important part of a vibrant equestrian community while owning the day-to-day operations of Colorado Saddlery store and being the Customer Relation Manager for Bell Mountain Ranch Equestrian Center.

About the Role
As the Equestrian Store & Ranch Customer Relations Manager, you will serve as a key member of the Bell Mountain Ranch team.
You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Colorado Saddlery saddle/tack shop while providing exceptional experiences for customers, vendors, boarders, and potential boarders.
- Manage the daily operations of the Colorado Saddlery saddle/tack shop at Bell Mountain Ranch
- Welcome customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
- Help customers select the right products, including appropriate sizing and fit.
- Answer product questions and help customers find solutions for their horses and riding needs.
- Create a welcoming, organized, clean, and visually appealing retail environment.
- Maintain effective product displays and merchandising.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase sales.
- Develop relationships with customers and become a trusted resource for their equestrian needs.
Inventory & Store Operations
- Receive, inspect, organize, and stock merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment needs.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate inventory transfers with the main Colorado Saddlery location.
- Process special orders and assist customers with product availability.
- Work closely with management and the sales team on promotions, inventory, and sales opportunities.
- Help ensure the store operates efficiently and professionally.
E-Commerce & Sales Growth
- Assist with maintaining and updating the Colorado Saddlery website.
- Update products, pricing, descriptions, inventory, and promotions as needed.
- Identify opportunities to increase online and in-store sales.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, product opportunities, and market trends.
- Support company-wide sales initiatives and promotions.
Equestrian Center & Boarder Experience
You will also play an important role in creating a positive experience for Bell Mountain Ranch boarders and prospective customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable point of contact for boarders.
- Build positive relationships within the ranch community.
- Respond to questions and help address customer and boarder concerns.
- Conduct tours of the Equestrian Center for prospective boarders.
- Explain boarding options, amenities, policies, and services.
- Assist with new boarder contracts, onboarding, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Administrative and operational responsibilities.
- Assist with events, clinics, activities, and special projects.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming environment throughout the Equestrian Center.
What We’re Looking For

The strongest candidate will have:
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or store operations experience.
- Knowledge of horses and the equestrian industry—strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Computer proficiency and comfort learning POS, inventory, e-commerce, and website systems.
- A strong attention to detail.
