Hidden Valley, a privately owned Horse Ranch located in Hidden Valley, is seeking a dependable ranch hand who is passionate about the care, health, and development of horses.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Feeding
- Grooming
- Clean stalls
- Care and exercise of horses
- Arena Maintenance
- Fencing Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of barns, stables, and surrounding grounds
- Minor electrical or plumbing repairs in the barn and trailers when necessary
Requirements:
- Knowledge of caring for equines
- Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock
- Knowledge of basic equine first aid
- Experience in monitoring animal appearance/behavior and communicating any
- Necessary information to superiors
- Operating tractors and other heavy machinery is a MUST
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Strong commitment to teamwork
- Ability to adhere to the organization’s policies, procedures, and regulations
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Physical fitness and endurance for long days outdoors
- English speaking / Spanish speaking is a +++
- Ability to work legally in the United States
