Position: Experienced Cow Checker / Cattle Health Monitor

We are a busy buy-and-sell cattle operation looking for one reliable, hardworking individual with 7–10 years of hands-on experience checking and working cattle. This is a true 7-day-a-week lifestyle position for someone who lives and breathes ranch work—not just a job, but a way of life.
What We Need:
- Strong ability to detect sickness, infections, respiratory issues, and other health problems early.
- Experience recognizing calving signs, knowing when a cow has calved, checking if the calf has nursed, and monitoring milk intake.
- Daily pasture and pen vigilance: spotting low grazing, checking water troughs, and staying ahead of potential issues.
- Comfortable working and sorting cattle, plus getting hands dirty—scooping chutes, cleaning water troughs, doctoring, and whatever else the day brings.
- Able-bodied, dependable, and no dilly-dallying. We move fast and expect the same.
- Because we buy and sell cattle regularly, our herd has more turnover and health challenges than a traditional cow-calf outfit, so we need someone sharp, observant, and proactive who can handle the extra pace.
