Rock Creek Cattle Company
Seeking experienced herdsman/cattleman for commercial & registered cow/calf operation in NW Kansas.
Springtime duties will include: all aspects of calving including: accurate record keeping, tagging, banding & weighing all calves at birth. Daily feeding and health care, as well as all necessary work to get pairs out to summer pasture: including, but not limited to: fencing, spraying, working calves, synchronization of cows and assistance with AI work.
Monitoring all cattle on summer pastures, hay equipment operation and various general ranch labor required during summer months. Fall work will include all pre-weaning work, fall gathering, weaning, feed truck operation and pregnancy checking.
The right candidate will possess excellent written/verbal skills & general knowledge of the industry in order to interact with our established customer base, veterinarian, nutritionist, and business associates.
Competitive salary will be based on experience & qualifications. Additional benefits available for right candidate.
***Will certainly consider hiring experienced seasonal help from March 1-July 1, 2023.
