Martson Farm Highland Cattle
Martson Farm Highland Cattle is developing markets for high quality, grass-fed and grass-finished Scottish Highland beef. We are looking to hire a dynamic, highly motivated person to assist in that effort – both in raising the Highland cattle and in interacting with the consuming public.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and love of cattle and horses. (We use horses to herd and work our cattle).
- Accomplished rider
- Responsible for all aspects of herd health, calving, grazing and winter feeding.
- Ability to operate farm's tractors and other equipment
- Maintain land and fencing
- Excellent communication skills used with consuming public on the farm, farmers markets and otherwise
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
