Hells Canyon Outfitters in Riggins Idaho is looking for a full time seasonal hunting guide.
All applicants must:
– be 18 years or older
-Have a valid drivers license
-speak and write english
-Have experience with horses and or mules
-Be certified in first Aid/CPR
-Have a good attitude
-Be willing to learn
-Have prior elk hunting experience (preferably guiding)
-Be able to work alone and with others
-Be willing to put in long, hard days
Duties will include but are not limited to:
-Guiding clients on both backcountry and private ranch hunts,
-Packing camps in and out of the backcountry
-Clearing trails
-Feeding and caring for livestock
-Saddling saddle and pack stock daily
-Packing, skinning and caping of game animals
