Central North Carolina Horse farm is seeking an experienced farm manager. This a working manager position. It is part farming and part horse work.
Responsibilities include feeding and cleaning stalls, maintenance of all farm equipment, fences, buildings, and barns as well care of the land.
Must have experience handling stallions to breed mares; know to foal out mares and care for newborn foals. Must know how to wean foals and halter train them to get ready to sell. Must be able to use all types of farm equipment including hay equipment. We bale our own hay.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work without supervision.
Salary based on experience. Housing is available.
