Small ranch in mountains of Southern AZ seeking EXPERIENCED single or couple for ranch and animal care position. Work is 2-4 hrs a day with possibility of additional hours and involves feeding, manure removal, tractor work, cleaning and filling water tanks, ranch maintenance, week management, handyman work, etc. The more you can capably handle means more paid opportunities. Would be great to find someone also capable of gentling mustangs with humane techniques.
We are a quiet and peaceful place and aim to stay that way. No drama, no smoking (fire hazard,) no drugs and no heavy alcohol consumption. Preference for someone skilled in recognizing horse health issues. You must be responsible, capable of lifting bales of hay and feed bags, self motivated, able to work independently and with others, and follow through with commitments. Preference for long term person if all works out for both parties. Also prefer someone with their own RV or LQ trailer – must be self contained as we have no extra bathrooms, etc. We may have housing available with security deposit.
