We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Ranch Hand with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in cow-calf operations. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking, reliable individual who takes pride in livestock care and ranch work. Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily feeding and general livestock care
- Calving and doctoring cattle
- Working cattle: gathering, sorting, vaccinating, and treating
- Operating and maintaining ranch machinery
- Haying and irrigation
- Fencing and general ranch maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience on a cow-calf operation
- Skilled in identifying and treating sick animals
- Capable of riding horseback and roping
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in haying, fencing, and irrigation
- Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, dozers, backhoes, haying equipment)
