NTR ranch
Looking for an individual to work at a 350 head cow calf operation in central North Dakota.
Job includes – fencing, calving, vaccinating, sorting, making hay, equipment maintenance, facility maintenance etc.
Calving is done in may and early june. Calves are banded and tagged at birth. Pairs are turned out to pasture in july and brought home in December. Everything is bull bred. All pastures are close to home. Summers are spent checking cows and making hay most of the time, and doing ranch maintenance.
This is not a cowboy outfit, work is done using atvs. Housing is possible to the right person. Must be physically fit, clean record and self motivated.
All of our equipment and facilities are relatively new and in good shape. No pets or smokers please. This is a good opportunity for the right person. There is also a possibility of someone running some of their own cows, if it fits with our operation.
Fair warning- North Dakota is very cold so keep that in mind. We are set up for these conditions and calve in May to make it easier on everyone.
