A family-owned farm/ranch operation south of San Antonio near Campbellton, Texas, is seeking an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated ranch hand to join our team. Our Livestock operations consist of cow/calf and market goats.
Responsibilities include operating and maintaining ranch equipment, buildings, fence repair, mowing, shredding, welding, plumbing, general ranch repairs/maintenance. Ideal candidates will also have experience with livestock health, hauling, handling and overall livestock and wildlife management.
During hunting season, this position will also include assisting with guest hospitality for hunters and youth. Will be required to maintain the lodge, blinds, barns, and other ranch facilities.
Applicants must be able to work independently, take initiative and remain flexible with schedule. Ranch work does not always fit an 8-5 schedule. Applicants must be able to travel between ranch locations, including possible overnight stays.
Modest housing may be available. Horsemanship is not required. Experience with farm equipment, lawn equipment and machinery is preferred. Must be eligible to work in the USA and have a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
Salary is based on experience.
