Taylor Farms is looking for an experienced Ranch Hand to join their diverse, fast paced family operation in Goodland, Kansas. The Ranch Hand must have a strong work ethic, be detail orientated and have 3-5 years of cattle experience.
Ranch Hand Compensation & Benefits:
- $48,000-$65,000 per year, based on experience
- Year-end bonus

Ranch Hand Job Duties:
- Conduct routine livestock inspections on all cattle.
- Handle cattle with low stress.
- Feed, water and put out salt and minerals
- Assist with artificial insemination process
- Assist with calving
- Identify and treat sick cattle
- Process and work cattle regularly
- Rotate cattle on pastures and corn stalks
- Install and fix fence
- Ability to monitor cattle health via side-by-side vehicles and/or horseback riding
- Safely operate a semi-truck during harvest
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment
Ranch Hand Schedule: Hours vary based on season
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, rotating weekends for chores
The Ranch Hand must have an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. A class.
