Family cow/calf and yearling operation in search of a long term ranch hand. We run about 750 cows and 650 yearlings. We practice low stress cattle handling. We do not farm or put up hay, with that said we are rehabilitating old hay fields back into native pasture and should be completed in a few years. We have high quality and dependable equipment. Very good fences and a top of the line water system. You will be working lots of days alongside of owner. Located one hour NE of Billings, MT
Skills:
- Strong work ethic
- Must be willing and capable of manual labor
- Work well in a team setting as well as independently

- Cattle doctoring (should be able to spot and doctor a sick animal)
- Safely operate a variety of equipment
- Must be willing to learn
- Truck Driving (CDL preferred)
- Mechanical and welding skills a plus
Duties would include:
- Fence repair and replacement
- Feeding
- Water system maintenance and repair
- Basic auto and equipment maintenance
- Calving heifers
- Hauling hay
- Property upkeep
- Weaning calves
- Moving and processing cattle
Compensation:
- Housing (no smoking, pets negotiable)
- Essential utilities (propane, electricity, land line phone)

Years of Experience preferred: 10 yrs
NO smoking in trucks, equipment, buildings or house
Pets and horses negotiable
Must have valid driver’s license
