Compass Cattle Co LLC, located near Big Timber, MT has a full time opening for a seasoned ranch hand.
You would bring:
- Verifiable experience with regenerative ranching principles
- Cattle husbandry and low-stress handling skills
- Horsemanship skills
- Electric fencing proficiency
- Understanding of and experience with intensive grazing and recovery times
- Pivot irrigation experience
- Equipment operation (tractors, excavator, backhoe, skid steer, atv, etc)
- A can-do, inquisitive attitude
- Any experience with bison would be a plus.

We are very focused on raising the best-tasting nutrient dense beef and bison protein on the market. We collect a variety of production data to track progress of our soils and forages and correlate practices to meat quality.
