Experienced Ranch Hand – LIT Ranch
Location: Channing, Texas (Texas Panhandle)
Type: Full‑Time, Year‑Round stocker operation.
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

LIT Ranch is a working Panhandle cattle ranch seeking a dependable ranch hand with a strong focus on animal health, proper stockmanship, and day‑to‑day ranch work.
Duties Include
- Daily cattle care with emphasis on animal health and welfare
- Straightening out high risk sale barn calves.
- Monitoring condition, sickness, injuries, and reporting issues promptly
- Administering vaccines and treatments per ranch protocol
- Fence construction and repair
- Operating ranch equipment (tractors, skid steer, pickups, trailers)
- Checking and maintaining water systems
- Shipping, receiving, and general ranch duties
Requirements
- Prior ranch and livestock experience strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of animal health, low‑stress cattle handling, and basic treatments
- Comfortable working cattle on foot and horseback
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Mechanical skills a plus (fencing, welding, basic repairs)
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to work outside year‑round in Panhandle conditions
