We are looking for a Ranch Hand to work a 4,000-acre property, care for a small herd of cattle, and handle various indoor and outdoor tasks with a positive, “can-do” attitude. If you have a clean driving and criminal background, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Fencing and Maintenance: help build, repair, and maintain fences, gates, and other structures on the property and ensure that the boundaries are secure
Equipment Operation: operate and maintain various types of equipment and machinery used on the property, such as tractors, trucks, ATVs, and power tools.
Land and Vegetation Management: land management activities, including irrigation, planting, landscaping, and controlling weeds
General Maintenance: perform general maintenance tasks around the property, such as repairing buildings, fences, or equipment
Perform minor repair work to both property and estate: Including on property: repairing plastic water lines and fencing, etc
Animal care: monitor feeders and maintain adequate levels of corn and protein feeders
Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Involves lifting and carrying of 80 lbs frequently
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must have valid Driver’s License
MUST KNOW HOW TO BACK A TRAILER, and KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TOOLS
