Small ranch seeking help with feeding and general maintenance/upkeep. Seeking someone with recent equine care experience. No riding.
Must be able to lift 100# bales of hay and 80# feedbags. Work is 2 hrs Am and Pm for one person, and less when we have volunteers helping. Owner works offsite but can also assist with animal care. There is manure removal using rake/shovel. Need someone competent in safe tractor operation and maintenance.
If you have common sense and can be mentally present in your work we’d love to hear from you. We are a no drugs/heavy alcohol/smoking/drama place. Only pets that can fit in your RV. We do not have housing to offer so you’ll need your own RV. We offer 50amp, septic/water hookups and shared internet.
Pay will depend upon your level of capability. Owner has to work, so in order to be paid, worker will need to be able to function independently and capably.
Our location is high desert, 5,200 ft. We have seasons and you’d have to work outdoors in all weather. We also have a vacation rental (currently for sale) that needs occasional cleaning (also paid). There is lots of free time to do your own thing and other work available here and locally.
